Banū Qasī
“Between two worlds, masters of both”
Origin: Tudela
The Banū Qasī were a unique Muwalladun native Iberian converts to Islam dynasty descended from the Visigothic Count Cassius. They controlled the upper Ebro valley from their base in Tudela, skillfully navigating between the Umayyad emirate and the Christian kingdoms of Navarra and the Franks. Musa ibn Musa was called the "Third King of Spain."
