Among the rose-tinted cliffs of Albarracín rises the Tower of Eternal Vigils, domain of Elendil Starwatch, an elven guardian watching over these mountains for two thousand years. Before Rome, the Lúmendil elves served as guardians of natural balance. When ancient darkness stirred, Elendil volunteered as a Sentinel, entering a magical covenant granting extended life in exchange for eternal vigilance. His tower was grown from a living oak, spiraling through nine levels. For five centuries he maintained wards and repelled shadow-spawn. As other elves departed, he refused to leave, sensing the darkness still waiting. In 1300, the Void-That-Hungers awoke. Elendil fought a three-month war in deep caves, wielding ancient starlight magic. The final battle on winter solstice nearly destroyed him.…
