Origin: The House of Monteagudo emerged from a lineage of warriors who fought alongside the crown during the Reconquista.

Established in the late 14th century, the House of Monteagudo became a powerful force in the Region of Murcia. Their strategic position near Mula Castle allowed them to forge alliances with other noble families. The founding patriarch, Lord Alvaro de Monteagudo, was known for his bravery in battle and his support of King Ferdinand during the campaigns against the Moors.
