Banū Tujīb
“First lords of the Upper March”

The Banū Tujīb were an Arab dynasty of Yemeni origin who governed the Upper March Marca Superior of al-Andalus from their base in Zaragoza. They served as governors under the Umayyad Caliphate before establishing the first Taifa of Zaragoza. Their rule preceded the Banū Hūd dynasty.
