San Sebastián Castle

15th–18th Century · Maritime Fortress

Built on a small island connected to Cádiz by a causeway, this fortress guards the entrance to the Bay of Cádiz. Some historians believe it stands on the site of the ancient Phoenician Temple of Kronos.
